I worked here for two four month terms. It was an excellent experience where I expanded my skills in Web Development as well as taking the time to learn and engage in AGILE development. I was responsible for implementing features, fixing bugs, and suggesting improvements across the five sites run by the Web team at the Bank. The team there was a great one to work with and encouraged me to expand my knowledge, particularily in learning about design systems and how they can help a site scale easily in size while maintaining consistency.
June to September 2016
My first official co-op worked term was at Coriant, Inc.. It was an excellent experience as I was in charge of working with Jira to handle the workflow. It allowed me to learn about many different work process in particular AGILE. I worked heavily with Groovy and Python to accomplish changes in Jira to remove the tedious book keeping for tasks. In return it improved efficiency and allowed managers and developers to quickly understand the workflow with minimal explination.
